A Confirmation Curriculum
The scope and sequence of Professing Our Faith echoes the emphases of the Study Catechism (Confirmation Version) by presenting the biblical foundations and theology of the Apostle’s Creed, the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer. Additionally, it invites young people to explore the meaning of their baptism and their participation at the Lord's Supper, as well as to learn about church polity, stewardship, spiritual practices, worship and mission.
For example, the Teacher’s Book is designed with two different formats in view: a full-length format with 35 sessions, Christmas and Easter, and a shorter second format with eight sessions. Both the full-length format and the eight-session format come with a unique Student’s Notebook for participants. The Leader’s Pack includes the Teacher’s Book, the 35-session and eight-session Student’s Notebooks and the Study Catechism (Confirmation Version). Additional copies of the Student’s Notebooks and the Study Catechism are available separately.

So Great a Cloud of Witnesses
A Survey of Church History
This study focuses on the stories of Christians trying to be faithful to God’s call. The call to Abraham and Sarah sets the stage in the first session. The next few sessions identify the believers of the early church and then move into early Christendom of the fourth to eighth centuries, as Constantine adopts Christianity, the canon is determined and Rome rises and falls. The medieval times are examined as architecture, art and music flourish as the Crusades begin. The Reformation as well as its leaders and reforms are studied. Also explored are Protestantism, revival, mission, the church in the 20th century and the church today. The course ends with a session studying the unique qualities of the participants' own congregations.
