Special synod loan programs

Many synods offer special loan programs. We urge you to contact your presbytery or synod office to inquire about current availability of loan funds. These funds can help reduce the cost of a loan's interest charge and give evidence of the connected nature of the church.

The Synods of Alaska-Northwest, Mid-America and Pacific have special loan programs that are supported by invested funds. Each program is different but each synod is interested in helping your church. For more information please see below.

The Presbyterian Investment & Loan Program, in its role as contract administrator of the Church Loan Program, originates loans with endowment funds in the bounds of any synod if requested to do so. It does not originate loans using investment funds within the bounds of the Synods of Alaska-Northwest, Mid-America or Pacific unless specifically requested by the synod to do so.

In addition, the Investment & Loan Program offers investments to individuals and corporations in all synods with the exception of Alaska-Northwest and Mid-America — where similar investments may be available. It offers investments to congregations and presbyteries in all synods with the exception of Alaska-Northwest, Mid-America and Pacific - where similar investments may be available.
